JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - The state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is soliciting proposals for an artist to draw and frame renderings of about 15 past and present adjutant generals.

The request for proposals was issued Tuesday. The budget for the project is estimated at between $8,000 and $15,000.

According to the solicitation, the renderings would be hung in the main hall of the Alaska National Guard Armory at Joint Base Elemendorf-Richardson.

Messages seeking comment were left for a department spokesperson.
