WASHINGTON (AP) - A former office manager at a Washington law firm has been sentenced to three years in prison for embezzling more than $400,000.

Thirty-one-year-old Bernard Chung of Falls Church, Va., was also ordered to pay restitution at sentencing Thursday in federal court in Washington.

Chung office manager for North Star Intellectual Property Law. According to his plea agreement, Chung embezzled from the firm by issuing excessive salary payments to himself, and inflating his regular paychecks.
