2-year-old dies in bathtub in Independence

INDEPENDENCE, Ore. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl in a bathtub at a home in Independence.

Sgt. Tino Banuelos says the girl was unconscious when officers responded to the home Monday night.

The Statesman Journal reports (https://stjr.nl/NbOkZ4 ) the results of the autopsy Tuesday are pending.
