Two people are confirmed dead after a disgruntled employee reportedly walked into a Vancouver, Wash., store and fatally shot his boss before committing suicide.

A 911 caller reported at 11:29 a.m. Monday that an employee at a Benjamin Moore Paints store came to work on his day off and shot his boss, The Columbian reported. The victim was reportedly lying on the ground in front of another business in the complex.

Police located a dead body, who they believe to be the shooter, inside a 2001 Acura just north of the paint store, the newspaper said.

Kim Kapp, a police spokeswoman, said officers have identified both of the deceased people, but are not yet ready to confirm their names or relationship to each other.

“As (police) arrived, we had located a victim and obviously had someone potentially outstanding,” she said. “We did locate that individual a very short time later, who was also deceased.”

Nobody else was injured, the report said.
