MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Police say a Medford, Ore., woman is accused of breaking in through the window of her estranged husband’s home and attacking him with a pocket knife.

The Medford Mail Tribune reports (https://is.gd/FMX9ga ) that 21-year-old Maritza Guadalupe Duran-Bencomo was arraigned Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on two counts of second-degree assault and attempted murder. She’s held on $500,000 bail.

Police say there were five people in the home early Saturday morning when Duran-Bencomo is accused of crawling in through a back window. Officers say she attacked Luis Ortega and Brandi Neims with the knife.

Both suffered minor stab wounds but were able to run outside.
