NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Bond has been set for the man accused of killing a 6-year-old boy in a hit-and-run accident in New Orleans.

22-year-old Arthur Toledano appeared Tuesday in court. WVUE-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1kNklSC) bond was set at $150,000 on a manslaughter charge in the death of Shaud Wilson, $75,000 for attempted manslaughter of the little boy’s 9-year-old sister, who was also injured in the accident, and $50,000 for hit-and-run.

Investigators say Toledano’s car struck Wilson and his sister as they walked to a bus stop Monday morning. The boy died a short time after the accident. His sister suffered multiple injuries, but is expected to survive.

Surveillance video shows the car stops, and then takes off.

Toledano was arrested only a few miles from the crash scene.
