MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A Minot woman accused of stabbing her husband has been charged with attempted murder.

Thirty-five-year-old Heather Leavitt was arrested after allegedly stabbing her husband, Timothy Leavitt, in their home early Saturday. A neighbor alerted police.

Police say Timothy Leavitt did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Court documents do not list an attorney for Heather Leavitt. She is due in court March 13 and could enter a plea then to the felony charge that carries a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison.
