WARWICK, N.Y. (AP) - State police investigators are seeking the public’s help in solving the slaying of an upstate New York man 11 years ago this week.

Investigators say 55-year-old James Keating was found murdered on Feb. 3, 2003 inside his home in the Orange County town of Warwick, on the New Jersey border 45 miles northwest of New York City.

When Keating failed to show up at his longtime job at Federal Express in Mahwah in northern New Jersey, a co-worker called police and asked them to check on him. Police say they found Keating’s front door open and his body inside the home. Investigators say he had been stabbed to death.

Keating’s family is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
