LAUREL, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a woman was tied up during a home invasion in the Laurel area.

Police say the 67-year-old woman let her dog outside Monday and was then accosted from behind in her home on Johnson Road by a man with a gun.

Two men taped the woman’s eyes and mouth closed and restrained her wrists and ankles and demanded to know where her money, drugs and guns were. Police say the men ransacked the house and fled with a handgun, prescription drugs, jewelry and money.

The woman, who was not injured, called her neighbor for help and her neighbor called 911.
