OHATCHEE, Ala. (AP) - Calhoun County sheriff’s deputies say they’re investigating a series of livestock slayings in Ohatchee.

Sheriff Larry Amerson told the Anniston Star (https://bit.ly/1jh0Io0 ) that several goats were fatally shot in their heads and necks between Feb. 1 and Feb. 4 and no suspects have been identified.

Authorities say the suspect could face felony charges of killing or disabling livestock.

Ohatchee is about 20 miles south of Gadsden.
