PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Providence police say they’re looking for suspects in the killing of a 17-year-old boy who was shot inside a home when gunfire apparently came through a window.

Authorities say the teen was shot at about 9 p.m. Tuesday in a home on Colfax Street. Police say he was in the kitchen when someone opened fire outside.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where police say he was pronounced dead at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Two men reportedly were seen running from the scene.
