ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Rapides Parish sheriff’s deputies are searching for an inmate who walked away from the Work Release Facility in Alexandria.
Officials say the inmate, 27-year-old Jonathan Webster, of Alexandria, was returning from a work detail when he walked away Wednesday afternoon.
He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a grey sweatshirt.
The Town Talk reports (https://townta.lk/N7wfeY ) Webster was serving a sentence for burglary and theft and is not considered dangerous.
