DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - A jury in south Alabama has convicted a man of two attempted murder charges for his involvement in a shooting at a graduation party last year.

The Dothan Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/1jigzTq) that the May 23 shooting on East Washington Street in Dothan left two people injured, including one seriously with a gunshot wound to the head.

The Houston County jury on Wednesday convicted 22-year-old Kamaluddeen Raheem Russaw of two felony counts of attempted murder and found him not guilty of a third similar charge.

Circuit Court Judge Larry Anderson set a sentencing hearing for April 11 after prosecutors asked for a pre-sentence report to be completed.
