ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Police say an overnight barricade situation in northeast Albuquerque has ended peacefully with a man’s surrender.

The situation began Thursday night when a man refused to leave a resident where officers had gone in response to a report of domestic violence.

He surrendered Friday morning following negotiations with police.

Streets in the area of the 11600 block of Candelaria were closed during the standoff but are being reopened.
