ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say a 23-year-old Anchorage man has been arrested on a manslaughter charge in the death of a Mountain Village man.
Troopers say Anthony Beans was arrested Friday and was being transported to Bethel for a court appearance in connection with the death of Clifford Schanrock. Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says the arrest occurred in Mountain Village.
Troopers were notified about the death on Wednesday.
According to troopers, Schanrock’s body is being taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Anchorage for an autopsy.
No other details were immediately available.
It’s unclear if Beans has an attorney.
