FEURA BUSH, N.Y. (AP) - A warehouse in upstate New York is cutting 72 workers and closing after losing a logistics contract with Burton Snowboards.

According to a notice filed with the state Department of Labor, World Logistics Group Inc. says it will eliminate the jobs in Feura Bush outside Albany by mid-April.

Burton says Friday it’s consolidating that distribution operation and another in Laval, Quebec, at one facility in Columbus, Ohio, that opened last February.

The New York warehouse handles snowboarding equipment and accessories such as bindings, boots and outerwear.

Burton was founded in 1977 in Vermont and is headquartered in Burlington.

The company says its New York lease expires in July.
