HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) - Police in Hamilton say an autopsy determined a 25-year-old man who was found dead by officers investigating a reported disturbance last week died of blunt force injuries.

Officers have been investigating the “suspicious death” of Robert L. Thaut, whose body was found in a Hamilton house on Jan. 28.

Two people who were at the residence were arrested for violating the terms of their release on earlier charges, but Police Chief Ryan Oster says no one has been charged in Thaut’s death.

Oster issued a statement saying police anticipate criminal charges will be filed. He declined to release further information citing the ongoing investigation.
