SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) - A fire has severely damaged a 112-year-old building in northern Idaho that housed a mainstay business in Sandpoint.

The Bonner County Daily Bee reports (https://bit.ly/12ppRTk) the fire on Thursday swept through the A&P Bar & Grill.

Sandpoint Fire Chief Robert Tyler and police Chief Corey Coon say there are no injuries and the fire has been ruled an accident.



The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and no damage estimate was given.

Officials say firefighters prevented nearby buildings from being damaged.
