SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Denzel Livingston scored eight of his career-high 36 points in overtime and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Incarnate Word to a come-from-behind victory over Houston Baptist 89-82 Saturday night.

Kyle Hittle scored first in overtime to give Incarnate Word its first lead since late in the first half, and the Cardinals led the rest of the way. Livingston was 6 of 6 from the line and added a dunk in overtime.

Hittle scored 19 points and Sam Burmeister contributed 11 for Incarnate Word (18-5, 6-4 Southland).

Houston Baptist led the entire second half until Livingston scored to tie it at 74 with 50 seconds remaining in regulation. Livingston was fouled scoring the layup, but missed the ensuing free throw. Houston Baptist’s Rob Lewis and Livingston then missed shots to send the game into overtime.

Lewis scored 22 points to lead Houston Baptist (4-20, 1-11), which has lost eight straight.
