CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Lee Skinner scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Wofford in a 77-56 rout over The Citadel on Saturday night.

Wofford (13-10, 8-3 Southern Conference) trailed briefly after the opening tip off but erased the deficit with a 3-pointer from Eric Garcia and never lost the lead again, pulling steadily away to take a 45-24 advantage into the break.

The Citadel (4-22, 0-11) kept pace in the second half but couldn’t close on the first half deficit.

Karl Cochran contributed 15 points and eight assists, Garcia finished with 14 points, and Jaylen Allen had 10 for the Terriers, who shot 51 percent from the field in winning their sixth straight.

The Bulldogs, who have lost 14 straight, were led by Brian White’s 14 points. Quinton Marshall added 11 points, and Matt Van Scyoc had nine points and 12 rebounds.
