SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Syracuse police say two women are in Onondaga County jail and their boyfriends are in the hospital recovering from stab wounds after two unrelated domestic violence incidents.

The first stabbing occurred shortly after 11:30 Saturday night when 36-year-old John Jenkins was stabbed in the torso. Police accuse his girlfriend, 28-year-old Antoinette Johnson, of stabbing Jenkins during an argument. She was charged with assault.

Police say both men are expected to survive.
