Deputy chief named in McComb

MCCOMB, Miss. (AP) - Rodney Nordstrom has taken office as deputy police chief in McComb.

The Enterprise-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1al2BwK ) he was nominated by Chief Scott McKenzie. The appointment was approved unanimously by the Board of Selectmen.

Nordstrom joined the McComb force in 1991 after service as a military police officer during the Persian Gulf War.
