MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) - Stephen Madison made a tie-breaking 3 and finished with 22 points as Idaho edged past Texas-Pan American 70-63 in overtime on Saturday night.

Idaho (10-14, 4-6 Western Athletic) made just 18.2 percent of its 3-pointers, but hit them when it counted. Madison knocked down a 3 - just the second of the game for the Vandals - with 9 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

Connor Hill made one from distance with 2:56 left in overtime, and after being fouled turned it into a four-point play to break the tie. Madison delivered once again, hitting a 3 with just 42 seconds left to stretch the lead to seven.

Madison led Idaho with 13 rebounds and the Vandals outrebounded Texas-Pan American 50-32.

Shaquille Hines and Shaquille Boga led the Broncs (6-19, 2-8) with 15 points each.
