GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) - Police say a Gresham man putting a shotgun in a gun safe accidentally shot his 8-year-old son in the stomach.
The shooting happened Saturday. The police said Monday the boy is talking with doctors and recovering more quickly than expected.
The police haven’t released the names of the boy or his father.
