TOWN OF CASSIAN, Wis. (AP) - Three people are dead after a collision between a car and a propane tanker in northern Wisconsin.

The Oneida County sheriff’s officel got a 911 call about the crash in the Town of Cassian around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Sheriff’s Lt. Dan Hess says there were people killed in both vehicles. It’s unknown if anyone is hospitalized.

Hess says it’s been snowing but it’s not known if the weather was a factor in the crash.

A county hazmat crew was sent to the scene.

Names of the victims have not been released.
