HAMPTON, Va. (AP) - Hampton police say a man whose body was found in a wooded area had been shot several times.
Police say in news release that the death of 19-year-old Jeramiah Elijah Kimble is being investigated as a homicide.
Kimble’s girlfriend reported him missing on Jan. 9. She told police he hadn’t been seen since Jan. 4.
Police say a search party organized by family members found Kimble’s body on Sunday in a wooded area behind an elementary school. Kimble had been shot in the upper and lower body.
