TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Dense fog continues to slowly burn off around New Jersey.

The improving conditions have spurred the National Weather Service to cancel a dense fog advisory. It had been issued because visibility had dropped to a quarter of a mile or less in many areas overnight.

The foggy conditions had caused some delays at the region’s airports, so travelers were being urged to check with their carriers before heading out.
