GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say an employee with a money delivery company is accused in a theft from a bank ATM in Goodyear last month.

Goodyear police announced Wednesday that 23-year-old Jesse Doyle Marion is being held on theft charges.

An internal investigator from Loomis Armored told Goodyear police on Dec. 4 that more than $24,000 in cash was missing from a Chase Bank ATM.

Loomis Armored is contracted to deliver money to and from that bank location and Marion was a Loomis employee at that time.

Police say Marion was identified as an investigative lead in the case and detectives executed a search warrant Monday at his home.

They say officers found large sums of cash and newly purchased items in the home.

Police didn’t immediately know if Marion has an attorney.
