RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - Eric Stutz scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half, and grabbed nine rebounds, to lead Eastern Kentucky past Jacksonville State 60-56 Saturday night.

Glenn Cosey, who finished with 17 points and made 11 of 12 free-throw attempts, hit a pair from the line with 4 seconds to play - giving Eastern Kentucky (13-6, 4-2 Ohio Valley) a 60-56 lead and, essentially, icing the game.

Undra Mitchem’s layup with just over 8 minutes to play gave Jacksonville State (9-13, 3-4) a 42-40 advantage, but Stutz scored eight points in the final 7:40 and EKU made 11 of 12 free throws down the stretch.

Tarius Johnson scored 12 points and made 3 of 4 from 3-point range for the Colonels.

Brian Williams scored 16 points and had six assists to lead JSU. Darion Rackley added 12 points.
