DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say an Alabama teenager has died after police found him shot at a home in Decatur.

WAFF-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1dO0K2T ) Decatur police found the 17-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head early Monday shortly after midnight.

The teenager was taken to Decatur Morgan hospital in critical condition. He later died after being moved to Huntsville Hospital.

Decatur investigators are interviewing potential witnesses. Police say several people were in the home when the teenager was shot.
