DOVER, Del. (AP) - Authorities in Delaware are investigating a home invasion in Dover in which three men armed with handguns and baseball bats allegedly forced their way into a home.

The Delaware State Police says it happened around 2:15 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of North Wilson Drive in Dover.

The Delaware State Police says three men wearing dark masks over their faces forced their way into the home and took cash before fleeing. The group also allegedly assaulted four of the home’s seven occupants. One man was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Three other male victims declined medical treatment.

The Delaware State Police says an investigation has determined the home invasion was not a random act and the victims were targeted.
