A group of Islamic militants posted a video online first admitting responsibility for separate suicide bombings in Volgograd that killed 34 last month and then vowing to carry out more fatal terror attacks at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Russia President Vladimir Putin responded to the video threat by saying that his nation was prepared. Fox News noted that $3 billion is being spent for 100,000 security forces at the Olympics.

But the video warning has still set many on edge.

A voice on the video speaks in Russian, directly to Mr. Putin: “If you hold the Olympics, you will receive a present form us … for you and all those tourists who will come over. It will be for all the Muslim blood that is shed every day around the world — be it in Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria, all around the world. This will be our revenge,” The New York Post reported.

The video also said that two men — named only as Suleiman and Abdurakhman — actually carried out the suicide attacks that killed and wounded dozens in Volgograd and that the men were working on behalf of a group that’s linked to the Iraqi-based Ansar al-Sunna.
