ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Seismologists say a minor earthquake was felt in some communities of Alaska’s interior.

The Alaska Earthquake Center says the 2.9 magnitude quake was felt in Fairbanks, North Pole and Fort Wainwright. There are no immediate reports of damage.

The center says the earthquake occurred late Sunday night and was located 11 miles east of Fairbanks.
