KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say they’ll release an update Wednesday morning about their investigation into the disappearance of a Michigan doctor.

The Kalamazoo County sheriff’s department on Monday announced plans for a press conference to provide the information about the case of Teleka Patrick.

The department says there will be no interviews until the press conference, at which time Sheriff Richard Fuller will take questions.

Patrick’s car was found in a ditch Dec. 5 along Interstate 94 in northern Indiana, about 100 miles from the Kalamazoo hospital where the 30-year-old was a resident. Her wallet, cash and identification were in the car. Investigators say she’d tried to check into a Kalamazoo hotel earlier that day.
