ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are investigating a shooting near a downtown hotel.
Authorities say a 19-year-old man was shot in the head about 1:30 a.m. Monday after leaving a party at the Ramada Inn. Police say the teen was in a vehicle at a traffic light when a car pulled up and a passenger opened fire.
The driver of the targeted car was able to speed away, but he had been struck in the head.
The teen is hospitalized in stable condition.
