CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The cold is here to stay for the week in New Hampshire.

There’s also some snow on the way in the southern part of the state Tuesday night.

Early Tuesday, temperatures ranged from 5 below zero in the mountains to 10 degrees along the coast. Winds were 5 to 15 mph with some gusts to around 20 mph, putting some wind chills in range of 10-to-20-below zero.

The National Weather Service says highs are only expected to reach the mid-teens at the coast to near zero north through Friday, with overnight lows near 20 below zero north and zero in the south.

Southern New England is expected to get the bulk of the snow Tuesday night through Wednesday, but a winter storm watch has been issued for southern New Hampshire.
