The truck rolled on its side when the driver took a corner too fast in a nearby neighborhood.

Police say 57-year-old Rogelio Vargas is being held Vargas on suspicion of aggravated assault on a police officer and unlawful flight.

They also say drug charges likely will follow pending toxicology results.

While at a hospital, police say Vargas told them he couldn’t remember what happened because he had used a large amount of illegal drugs the night prior.

Police say Vargas has prior arrests involving drugs.
