MILFORD, Mass. (AP) - Police say a 58-year-old patient has died after the ambulance she was in overturned after being struck by a car in Milford.
Deputy Chief James Heron said the ambulance was en route to Milford Regional Medical Center at about 11 a.m. Tuesday along Route 140.
Surveillance video at a nearby pizza shop captured the crash. Heron said is appears the car’s driver ran a stop sign and clipped the ambulance, which skidded, rolled over and came to rest upright on the guardrail.

Police say Karen Scott of Upton was returning from a dialysis treatment in another town. She was taken by another ambulance to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
A paramedic in the ambulance was also injured.
Police said the car’s driver will be cited for running a stop sign and failure to yield.
