NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police have arrested the wife of a man who was killed in a June 2013 shooting.

Police tell The Times-Picayune (https://bit.ly/1mAbqpi ) 25-year-old LaToya Francois was arrested on a second degree murder charge at an apartment complex in Gretna on Sunday.

Police say she was identified as one of two suspects in the June 7, 2013, shooting death of her husband, 27-year-old Clardie Ellis III.

Ellis was shot as he arrived at his grandmother’s house. Authorities found him lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say they are searching for a second suspect in the slaying.

It was unclear whether Francois has an attorney.
