MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Wisconsin wineries are lobbying for a bill that allows minors to tour their establishments without a parent.

The Wisconsin Winery Association’s Anna Maenner says it would allow children to see how wine is made, even if they don’t get to taste it. Current law says children can’t tour a winery without a parent.

Wisconsin Public Radio (https://bit.ly/1iq3cQE ) says minors can tour a brewery even if you’re too young to legally drink beer. Although those under 21 can’t sample the product.
