MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) - A woman has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for her part in the killing of a Brevard County deputy.

As part of a deal with prosecutors, Andria Kerchner pleaded guilty Thursday to being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, as well as theft and burglary charges.

Authorities say the Kerchner and Brandon Bradley were fleeing a motel burglary in March 2012 when Deputy Barbara Pill stopped them. Authorities say Bradley shot the deputy multiple times when she ordered them out of their vehicle.

As part of Kerchner’s plea deal, Florida Today (https://goo.gl/MoLxcv ) reports that she has agreed to testify against Bradley, who still awaits trial.
