CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Small businesses in New Hampshire are gathering to hear about health care reform, a strategic economic plan for the state and policy issues at the annual Small Business Day.

Three educational sessions in Concord on Friday are following remarks from Gov. Maggie Hassan and a legislative panel.

The first is discussing essential resources to the success of a small business. The second is covering new strategies and opportunities for meeting a company’s health care and health insurance needs in the post-Affordable Care Act economy.

The third is covering the Business and Industry Association’s strategic economic plans for New Hampshire, aimed at capitalizing on the state’s strengths and addressing growing weaknesses.

The event is being held from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
