SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A Marmet man has been arrested after allegedly threatening staff and patients at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston.

The Charleston Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1fbIsZD) that 28-year-old Dustin Don Griffy was charged Thursday with making terroristic threats.

According to a criminal complaint, Griffy walked into the hospital emergency room and asked to be seen by a doctor. When told there would probably be a long wait, Griffy allegedly began threatening staff.

He then allegedly went into the waiting room and laid down, but other patients complained that he was threatening to shoot them.

He was being held in the South Central Regional Jail on Friday morning with bail set at $100,000.
