MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) - Kris Davis scored 20 points and Keaton Jackson added 17 as Southern Illinois-Edwardsville defeated Tennessee-Martin 87-82 on Saturday.

The Cougars (7-14, 4-4 Ohio Valley) shot an efficient 61.2 percent from the field and were 7 of 10 beyond the arc. Maurice Wiltz had 14 points and Donivine Stewart chipped in 15 with six assists.

UT-Martin (7-16, 2-6) shot 52.8 percent, but was outrebounded 31-24. Terrence Smith led the Skyhawks with 22 points, Dee Oldham had 16 and Myles Taylor contributed 15.

SIUE erased a 24-13 deficit in the first half, surging back to take a 34-33 advantage at halftime.

Davis hit a 3-pointer in the second half to spark a quick 10-2 run for the Cougars. A Wiltz jumper and layup made it 64-51 at the midway mark.

UT-Martin closed the gap to four with an Oldham 3-pointer, but with just 8 seconds left.
