SPRING, Texas (AP) - A man has been charged with murder after being accused by authorities of running over a group of people outside a suburban Houston dance hall.
Tito Estrada Juarez is facing a murder charge for the death of Alexandra Rodriguez.
Authorities allege that Juarez intentionally ran over the 20-year-old Rodriguez and three other people outside the Big Texas Dance Hall & Saloon in the Houston suburb of Spring around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Harris County sheriff’s deputies say the incident happened after a fight in the parking lot.
Rodriguez died at the scene. The three other victims were treated at a local hospital.
The 27-year-old Juarez was being held Sunday on a $50,000 bond in the Harris County Jail.
Court records did not list an attorney for Juarez.
