PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Top executives at Rhode Island’s health insurance companies are set to discuss health care costs, the state’s new online insurance marketplace and other issues affecting small businesses.

Officials with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, UnitedHealthcare and Tufts Health Plan are the featured guests at a forum Tuesday morning.

The event is organized by the Health Insurance Small Employer Task Force.

Christine Ferguson, director of the state-run marketplace known as HealthSource RI, also is expected to attend. Three of the four insurers are offering plans this year on the so-called exchange.

The task force is coordinated by The Providence Plan, which works with the office of the state health insurance commissioner on health plan rate reviews.
