LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming junior forward Larry Nance Jr. has been named the Mountain West player of the week.

It is Nance’s career conference player of the week honor and second of the season.

Nance helped Wyoming to two wins last week over Air Force and Nevada, averaging 19.5 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots in the two games.

He shot 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from the field and 91.7 percent (11-of-12) at the free throw line. He committed just three turnovers over the two-game stretch.
