SEATTLE (AP) - Police say a 47-year-old man was seriously injured when he was pinned between an out-of-control SUV and a gas pump at a Seattle gas station.

KING-TV reports (https://is.gd/7HZHfA) the unidentified man injured an arm Monday and suffered possible internal injuries. He had been filing up his own car when he was struck. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The 30-year-old male driver of the Chevy Tahoe was also taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police say he appeared to be under the influence. Detective Renee Witt says he was placed under arrest and a legal blood draw was performed.

Witt said that man was expected to be booked into jail for investigation of vehicular assault.
