ATLANTA (AP) - The host of public radio’s “Marketplace” is set to deliver the keynote address during Emory University’s Founders Week.

The university says Kai Ryssdal, an Emory alumnus, is set to give a lecture on campus at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 4. The title of the lecture is “Repeat after me: The Dow Jones is Not the Economy - and Vice Versa!”

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Ryssdal graduated from Emory in 1985. He spent some time in the U.S. Navy and in the U.S. Foreign Service. Since 2005, he’s been the host and senior editor of “Marketplace,” a public radio program that covers business and the economy.

Founders Week is a midwinter festival celebrating Emory’s intellectual life through artistic, social and cultural events.
