ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut officials are trying to determine the cause of a department store fire that prompted an evacuation of a smoke-filled shopping mall. No one was injured.

The fire broke out Monday evening at the Target store at the Enfield Square mall in Enfield. Officials say it appears the fire began in a section of the store that includes paper products.

Fire officials say there was smoke damage throughout the store and other parts of the mall. Target is expected to remain closed Tuesday, but the rest of the shopping center is expected to be open.

Fire marshals are investigating the cause and whether the blaze was intentionally set.
